It is not known exactly how this game entered Switzerland but it is generally thought to have arrived from Italy
during the 17th century.
Troccas decks are sometimes called "JJ" or "Juno and Jupiter" decks because they substitute Juno for The High Priestess and Jupiter for The Hierophant. The Tower
is called Le Maison Dieu.
