As of October 2009, Transit Cape Breton has also put 8 low rider, wheel chair-accessible buses into service which travel the regular routes. Their main feature is a no-stairway entry system with wider aisles. They are much easier for the elderly to access.

If you are not sure where the nearest stop to your destination is located or when the next bus is arriving, feel free to ask any of the drivers or pick up the Rider's Guide located on any of the Transit buses.
