Their feud with Goldberg eventually ended his WCW career when, at Sin
, they defeated him and Dwayne Bruce
in a match where, had Goldberg lost, he would be forced to retire.
After retiring Goldberg they joined Ric Flair
's Magnificent Seven

.
In March 2001, they started a feud with WCW World Tag Team Champions
Sean O'Haire
and Chuck Palumbo
but were unable to win the titles before WCW was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation
later that month. The team dissolved when Bagwell went to the WWF in the purchase and Luger did not.
The team reunited for one night in UCW in 2004.
Along with Rick Steiner
, both members of Totally Buff appeared as "mystery opponents" for Jeff Jarrett
to face alongside Sting at the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
(TNA) pay-per-view Sacrifice. However, neither man wrestled when Jarrett declined and ended up facing Samoa Joe
. Luger and Bagwell have since made appearances together on TNA programming as faces
