On December 12, 2005, Wood announced on her personal blog that G4tv.com had been cancelled by G4, and that filming of the last episode of the series would be on December 17, 2005.

In November 2007, during an irc chat that Kevin Pereira of the G4 network had with fans from G4, he told the chatters that Tina Wood has given birth to a baby girl. This explained her leave of absence from Channel 10 of nearly 6 months (she is now posting again, regularly). This was confirmed by G4Rewind.com (A fan site dedicated to the G4 of old). Since her recent appearanaces of Talk with Tina, she now uses her married name Tina Wood Summerford.
