based filmmaker Prashant Bhilare

(2009) which represented India at the 1st First Step Film Fest in Albania

"BRAHMA" is an experimental/ abstract short which deals with the issue of breast cancer
and the poor conditions of the "New Age" middle class "Homemaker" women, who exists even in a city like Mumbai
, the financial capital of India. The short was filmed in the month of December 2010 at the house of its producer - director, just like his first short.
No names were given to the characters. The actors were cast from a local weekend acting school in Mumbai
