Premise and format

The Hive is a colourful animated series for pre-schoolers featuring the Bee family, who live together in Honeybee Hive. the main character is Buzzbee a young male bee, and his family consisting of Pappa Bee, Mamma Bee, his sister Rubee and Babee. There are many peripheral characters including the school teacher Miss Ladybird, Katypillar the gardener, Buzzbee's mischievous friend Jasper the Wasp and Queen Bee.

The Hive is about the everyday things that concern little children such as playing, being friendly, spending time with your family and finding out all about the world and how it works.
