Ameen Mian Qaudri is the present caretaker (Sajjada Nasheen) of the Khankah-e-Marehra Sharif of the Barkatiya Silsila
. Quadri is the son of the famous Sufi Ahsanululema of Marehra
in western Uttar Pradesh, India. Quadri is a professor in the Urdu department of Aligarh Muslim University
. He has been ranked 44th in the list of 500 most Influential Muslims of the world by the Amman, Jordan-based Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in collaboration with the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at the Georgetown University, Washington DC.
He is Patron in Chief of MSO of India, a students organization of Muslim Students & Youths of India.MSO of India has More than Ten Lac [10,00,000] active members.
