The Concept

Sustainability Television was developed based on the experiences of Jason Robinson (Founder and CEO) in Finance, Film and Television, Travel and the Environment. Sustainability TV’s business model evolved from a non-profit model in 1999 into a social enterprise "for-profit" model in 2007.

Launch of the Website

The website (www.sustainabilitytelevision.com) was launched in June 2008. Contents include streaming video, news commentary via the internet, and a calendar of sustainability-themed events.

In March 2009 the company joined forces in a partnership initiative with the Sierra Club of BC to broaden their shared conservation message with the public.

In September 2009, the company formed a partnership with The NOW! Organization
