 Barracks (redeveloped for housing in the 1990s and renamed Cardwells Keep). Today only the impressive three-storey Keep, outer walls, entrance gateway and several two-storey barrack blocks survive but the site has an interesting history and was also used as the main location for the film Carry on Sergeant
