for MediaCorp Channel 8 and MediaCorp Channel U. Star Awards 2009 was telecasted 'LIVE' on Channel 8, 26 April 2009 at 1900 hrs, where the results were announced. A post show was held after the awards ceremony and telecasted on Channel U at 2200hrs. President Sellapan Ramanathan and Acting Minister of Information, Communications and the Arts
