St. Agnes is located on West End Avenue at West 87th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The school is just one block from the number 1 subway stop at 86th Street and Broadway, with easy connections to the Number 2 and 3 express trains. In addition, the M-86 cross-town bus stops directly across the street from the school, providing convenient access for students on the East Side. College Guidance
The College Guidance office at St. Agnes Boys High School is led by Mr. James Giordano, M.A., M.Ed. Mr. Giordano has created a dedicated college guidance web site for St. Agnes students at http://www.admissionsandaid.com. This web site contains information on college admissions, scholarships, financial aid, and other college related matters. In 2009, St. Agnes seniors received over 8 million dollars in financial aid and scholarships to attend college. Students graduating in the classes of 2008 and 2009 were accepted into a multitude of prestigious institutions, including the United States Military Academy at West Point, United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Boston College, Boston University, the College of the Holy Cross, Pennsylvania State University, MIT, Harvard University, Brown University, Bowdoin College, Fordham University, Columbia University, NYU, Babson, Fairfield University, Vanderbilt University, University of Chicago, and the State University of New York at Binghamton. 100 percent of students were accepted into a college. In the past two years, St. Agnes Boys High School students have been awarded two New York Times Scholarships, one Questbridge Scholarship, one Posse Scholarship, one Coca-Cola Scholarship, one Gates Millennium Scholarship, one TD Bank Scholarship, and a multitude of other awards.Notable alumni
