The village of South Harting has two churches, one Anglican and one Congregational. Events

The Anglican church often arranges community events and fundraising co-ordinated by congregation in the surrounding villages.
But the community often also sets up event in South Gardens, a rec area with a lake that has been used to host community events.

Every Whit Monday Harting celebrates the Festivities, this has happened since 1800 and is in support of the Old Club.
