Comeback From Injury 2011

Sandra had surgery on her back in the Autumn of 2009, and returned to match play in November 2010 playing team tennis for her homeclub of SALK. In her first match back she beat Camilla Lundberg 63 61.

Roma made her ITF comeback in Taalin, where she qualified and lost in the first round of the main draw. Another loss followed to Mona Barthel at Sandra's home tournament in Stockholm. Sandra then won 4 matches in qualifying for the main draw in Antayla, where she was knocked out in the second round - main draw. The following week she again qualified winning 4 matches and is currently due to play her semi final match in the main draw.
Playing Style

Sandra style of play consists of a variety of spins and slices integrated into baseline play. She mixes her game up, breaking up baseline play with a variety of spins and slices, also using drop shots effectively. Sandra is a solid player at the net, and has had much success in doubles.
