located at South East of Guatemala and can be reached by road international from Guatemala City head south to Escuintla, and then head East to Chiquimulilla (santa Rosa) keep going till about 10 klmt. to the left head north to Nancinta, and then head North to San Juan Tecuaco for about 22 kilometers, but no air field to land. Some authorities land their helicopters at the Soccer Arena.
Created around the 1800 by the almost extinted mayans called (XINCAS) speaking xinca, because is a very humble people that they don't recognise themselves as xincas and the way they live is according to the mother nature, the name Tcuaco means Tec= tex (Snake), and uaco=cuacl(stone) or place of the Snake of stone.
with 82 square klmt and surrounded to the west, and south with Chiquimulilla, to the east with Oratorio, and Pasaco, to the north with Santa Maria Ixhuatan.
The Demacratic local governenment represented by the Major, (alcalde) followed by vice, and councelers, but at this moment 2008 the present major (Jose Antonio Davila on his third period of 4 years each one, and the fair (feria) starts on January 23, end on January 27 in honor of San Juan.
