Prominent leaders in the society with high personal integrity and honest characters to serve others were moulded and modeled in the past 60 years, ranging from high ranks civil service leaders, legislators, political reformers, university educators, medical practitioners, lawyers, certified public accountants, chartered engineers and chartered surveyors, professional artists, business leaders at Board levels were the results of the great efforts of several generations of educators, students, and family's co-operation.

Salesian English School is the pioneer school in delivering primary and secondary education in English medium dated back to the 1960s. This is a novel, but humble educational institute followed suit the doctrine of the founder Father Don Bosco. Located in the Island East of Hong Kong, at the juncture of Chaiwan and Shaukeiwan, the Catholic School used to be able to visualized the development of a fishing bay with diligent peoples while raising generations of Hongkongers with dignity, vision and mission.
