Recognition
The Hersey Pavilion on the hospital campus, constructed in 1905, was of the first purpose-built nurses' residences in Canada. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1997 in recognition of the important role the building played in the training and professionalism of nurses in Canada.See also
