). They began to record an album for Atlantic Records. It appears the band's name changed over time: from Asylum, to Freedom, to Violet's Demise - the latter being the name the band finally settled on. Atlantic Records did not release their album, however, until much later (in 2002 - under yet a new name: Logan-Robertson; the album was titled "Revisited").

Session Work in Los Angeles and Japan (1995–1998)

Between Violet's Demise and VAST, Robertson spent three years doing session work in Los Angeles, as well as some work in Japan, where he toured briefly.

VAST (1998-2000)

Robertson worked with the band VAST, founded and fronted by Jon Crosby, on the tour supporting the project's first album. VAST (Visual Audio Sensory Theater) took a theatrical approach to performances. In 2006 DC4 replaced Church with Rowan Robertson. Now with Robertson on guitar, the band released their second album "Explode" in 2007 and in 2011 released their third album, "Electric Ministry."
