Foxcroft was the first Canadian to serve as a referee in the NCAA and helped pave the way for several others who have worked in the U.S. With 35 years service to the International, Canadian and U.S. College game, he was inducted into the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999.
He accomplished all this from relatively humble beginnings in Hamilton Ontario's east end. Since achieving great success both as a sportsman and as a business entrepreneur he has made major contributions to charitable causes across the Hamilton region such as chairing the very successful HSC School fundraising committee .
