Starting 14 August, 2006 till 31st of January 2008 he has been working as Media director, “RBC Ukraine” inform agency.

For this moment, Roman is a radio-anchor of the "Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty" Ukrainian Service (RFE/RL).

Starting 19th of January, 2009,- he is the author and the anchor of "Truth of Roman Skrypin" (ukr: "Pravda Romana Skrypina") TV-program, "TVi" TV-channel (Ukraine).

On the 23rd of February he was elected as a Chief of the Ukrainian Independent media union. There were 31 votes for his candidature among 57 delegates attended the 2nd congress of the Independent media union, which took place in the House of scientists, Kiev

On the 2nd of April Roman Skrypin headed informational service of "TVi" TV-channel (Ukraine). He became the vice of the "TVi" editor in chief Yevgeniy Kiselyov.
