. Beginning in Fall 2010, RMCAD also offers online programs in 3D Animation and Interior Design.

RMCAD's Interior Design department includes a Green Design area of emphasis, the first accredited program of its kind.

Special learning facilities include a woodshop, ceramics studio, photography lab, professional sound studio, 283-seat auditorium, 35-seat audiovisual theater, large meeting rooms, and a Library/Resource Center.

Notable faculty

Art Education is led by Lisa Hochtritt, who joined the RMCAD faculty from The School of Art Institute of Chicago.

Fine Arts is led by Chair Rebecca Vaughan, Clark Richert (painting), and Gary Emrich (photography).

Fred Murrell leads the Communications Design department.


Sam Flemming and Sean Burns are Co-Chairs of both the Game Art and Animation departments, Larry Kresek drives the Illustration department, and Lauren Pillote is in charge of RMCAD's progressive Interior Design department.
