Van der Meer played Meike Griffioen in the Dutch soap Goede Tijden, Slechte tijden (Good Times, Bad Times). Her last appearance in the soap was on 1 March 2002. Van der Meer also had guest appearances in Costa! and Baantjer en Bumpers. She was also seen in various commercials.
