Robert J. Moriarty is a former American Marine F-4B fighter pilot
who recorded over 824 missions in combat. At the age of 20, he was the youngest naval aviator in the Vietnam war
. He became a Captain in the Marines at the age of 22.
He holds 14 International aviation records including Lindbergh
's record for time between New York to Paris in two different categories. On 31 March 1984 at 11:20, Robert Moriarty flew between the pillars of the Eiffel tower
