After working in the Toronto
printing trade, Hutchison returned to Kingston in 1986. He began working at Kingston Co-operative Homes in 1989 and is now the property coordinator of this not-for-profit agency. He has also been president of the Kingston Community Options Fund and the Kingston Global Community Centre, as well as serving on the Kingston Not-for-Profit Housing Association.
