The Road Haulage Association Ltd (abbreviated as The RHA) is a UK trade association which represents members of the road haulage industry, together with allied businesses. The RHA has been in continuous existence for more than fifty years. As a trade association, the RHA provides dedicated campaigning, advice, information and business services specially tailored for its members within the UK's haulage
industry, including audits, risk assessments and contracts of employment. It also offers a large range of training, from Digital Tachograph
training to Safe Loading.
Its head office is based in Peterborough

. Each of these regional offices provides support for the Associations' members within that geographical part of the UK.
The RHA is currently headed by Chief Executive Mr Geoff Dunning.
The RHA was engaged in the United Kingdom
fuel protest of 2000, which was a major protest against the price of fuel and fuel tax. The RHA has been engaged in similar campaigns in 2007 and 2008.

are currently involved in raising awareness of the next planned increase in fuel duty in April by giving backing to the Fair Fuel UK campaign. The campaign aims to gather a sizable petition together for delivery to Downing Street before the April budget, in the hope that the coalition Government will scrap the predicted 5p increase per litre of fuel. The Campaign is fronted by TV Presenter Quentin Willson

On Monday 14th February 2011, several RHA staff members joined supporters of the Fair Fuel UK campaign to pull a 7 Tonne Lorry into Downing Street, along with a banner saying "Have a Heart Chancellor" to coincide with Valentines Day.
There is currently an estimated 120,000 petition signatures.
The association also provides dedicated training for use of Digital Tachographs.

Digital Tachographs
Since the launch of Digital Tachographs in May 2006, The RHA has been greatly involved in the implementation of the technology into the haulage industry, including the introduction of digital data downloading tools and digital analysis in the form of Smartanalysis software.The association also provides dedicated training for use of Digital Tachographs.
