As of 2009, Ralston had approximately 200 dwellings inhabited by Canadian and British military families. In addition, the crown village hosts a gym, swimming pool, baseball diamond, basketball, tennis and squash courts, ice arena, children's splash park, church, school, preschool, community centre, pub/restaurant, library, shop and rodeo ground. Constructed in late 1951, the Ralston School is a Recognized Federal Heritage Building.
