Rain Nightclub, at the Palms Casino Resort, opened in the 2001 by the N9NE Group
. The club is or has been known as Rain Las Vegas and Rain in the Desert. A variety of celebrities have been spotted at Rain, including Jerry Bruckheimer

and David Katzenberg. Rain was the first mega club to open in Las Vegas. It was arguably the busiest club, with a waiting line several or more hours long. Rain was the first club to introduce Vegas sky boxes, cabanas and water booths. Rain was considered to be a one of a kind hot spot until the Pure Night Club opened at Caesars Palace. Rain remains a very popular hot spot in Las Vegas to this day.
