 against the 3 controversial Tulfo brothers, media personalities Ramon, Erwin, Ben and Raffy Tulfo, based on the affidavit of Arroyo. The desistance came after Arroyo had survived a triple heart bypass last May, having forgiven all those whom he accused of libel. Arroyo had earlier accused the Tulfo brothers of having issued libelous statements in a press conference on August 2, 2006 in a QC restaurant where the brothers said that Arroyo had a hand in the cancellation of their program "Isumbong Mo" (Tulfo Brothers) aired over government television network RPN Channel 9 and engaged in an illicit relationship with a certain Vicky Toh. Vicky and her brother were allegedly involved in smuggling activities, which Ramon Tulfo revealed in his column. This, and Mr. Arroyo's alleged link to Ms. Toh, Ramon claimed, was the real reason Mr. Arroyo broke off his friendship with Ramon and began attacking him instead.

The charges filed by Mike Arroyo has since been dropped. Raffy currently is associated with his other brother
