The Peterborough Chase is a Grade 2 National Hunt
chase in Great Britain
which is open to horses
aged four years or older. It is run at Huntingdon
over a distance of about 2 miles and 4½ furlongs (4,124 metres), and during its running there are sixteen fences to be jumped. The race is scheduled to take place each year in November or December.
The event's recent history has been dominated by Henrietta Knight, who won eight of the ten runnings between 1998 and 2007. This was achieved with four different horses, including four consecutive victories with Edredon Bleu.
