There is a small community of Pakistanis in Turkey, consisting mainly of expatriates and students. There are many Pakistani students studying in Turkish university and colleges. There are also large number of long-term and short-term economic migrants from Pakistan

In 2008, approximately 359 Pakistanis were deported from Turkey back to Pakistan on claims of fake documents to enter Europe.
