s in Ontario, Canada attend the college for their 15 weeks program in order to receive their Basic Constables diploma. Once they have received the Diploma and after they have been sworn in as Peace Officers, they can then work in the Province of Ontario as Police Officers.

History

The Attorney General appointed an advisory committee on police training in 1959. The college was established in 1962 and offered its first classes beginning January 7, 1963. The college is built on the grounds of the former Royal Canadian Air Force Station Aylmer
