. This very short highway begins at a T-intersection with SR 7 just to the east of the census-designated place of Newport, located between Marietta and New Matamoras. SR 807 departs the intersection to the northwest, traveling uphill as it follows a U-curve that bends it to the west and then back around to the southeast, where it enters the Hi Carpenter Memorial Bridge. The bridge takes passes over SR 7 and then the Ohio River

. At a point over the river, SR 807 meets the West Virginia state line. There, the route comes to an end, and becomes unsigned WV 807, which carries the remaining length of the bridge and comes to an end at a signalized intersection with WV 2 a very short distance from the southeastern approach to the bridge.

History
