 is the former promoter of Martial Combat, an ESPN Star Sports owned promotion which put on 12 events in 2010. According to Cui Martial Combat was a "small pilot test project" and ONE Fighting Championship will be spending fifteen times as much on each event as Martial Combat did. The funding comes from a group of foreign investors.

Rules

ONE Fighting Championship will institute the Pride Fighting Championships rules combined with the Nevada Rules; allowing for soccer kicks, head stomps, and permitting the use of elbows.
