. Naraha, along with Tomioka, is home to the Fukushima Daini (Number 2) Power Plant. The Daini power plant had a problem with its cooling facility. This was in addition to problems suffered by the nearby Fukushima Daiichi (Number 1) Power Plant. Naraha was evacuated as a result of the problems at the plant.
