Mount Carmel School was established in a room at Anand Niketan, New Delhi on 10th July 1972, with 12 students. This branch now has nearly 2,500 students, a staff of 150 and two buildings: the Junior School, housing students from nursery to Class III; and the Senior School for Classes IV to Class XII.

 branch was established in April 1997, in the silver jubilee year of the original school. The 165 student body has grown to 1,800 following an upgrade to Secondary level. Following a move to an independent site in April 2002, a pre-school block was opened two years later. The school has been upgraded to Senior Secondary.
