The Montreal, Portland and Boston Railway was an international railroad located in northern Vermont
and southern Quebec
.
It was built from Frelighsburg, Quebec
to Sheldon, Vermont
in 1882. At Sheldon Junction it connected with the Portland and Ogdensburg Railroad.
Due to lack of traffic on the MP&B, the tracks were abandoned and removed the following year in 1883.
