1866 a new church was built by master constructor Johann Brenner, which was renovated one hundred years later. Also the already listed "Tausz organ" was renovated at that time. The new church is also devoted to James, son of Zebedee

Miedlingsdorf was first mentioned in documents in the year 1325 known under the name of “Meren“, which has its roots in the Slavic language. In the year 1697 a chapel was built outside the nowadays village, which was dedicated to James, son of Zebedee.
