Middlefield was the only York Region school to win the soccer championship two years in a row, which started with the junior boys of 2003-2004. Notable members of this team who contributed to MCI's success were: Fasih Pirzada, Mohammed Amini, Jaan Malik, Pranavan Ganeshalingam, Saleh Malik, Amir Tanveer, Sulakshan Sa, Naval Dashmana, and Usman Javed. Middlefield is also the best at cricket and crushes all other schools' egos.
