History
Markham Gateway was founded in September 2001 but its official opening wasn't held until April 18, 2002. Markham Gateway has teachers and staff that have helped children pass through their troubles. When the school opened its principal was Ms. V Dawson (2002-2005), but now is governed under Ms. Sengupta (2005-Present). Markham Gateway Public School is a feeder school for Middlefield Collegiate Institute.Divisions
