Middle Rasen has had at least two churches. That dedicated to Saint Paul which was demolished in 1860, and some of its fabric was used in the restoration of the church of Saint Peter

Middle Rasen Primary School was built in 1875 to replace a charity school founded by the will of John Wilkinson who died in 1720.
