, and a municipality of the Attica region. Metamorfosi is accessed by the Tatoiou Street (Metamorfosi) Interchange at the GR-1

(number 6) and several main streets including Amarousiou Avenue. It is located about 80 km SE of Thiva, about 65 km SSE of Chalkida, SW of Marathon

via GR-1 and about 3 km NE and north of the Attiki Odos (number 6). The main road linking to Nea Filadelfeia
and Kifissia
runs through Metamorfosi and northwest Tatoiou street.
The area was made up of farmlands. Farmlands used to dominate the land which included groves. In the mid to late 20th century, urban development and industrial buildings replaced much of the farmlands. The industrial area is around the northern and the northeastern part of Metamorfosi. Today, most of the land is residential area. The southern and the central part are urbanized while the northern part is industrialized. The companies include Tudor Hellenic SA on Plastira street. The Cephissus River
is to the west. Parnitha
