Academic standards

For the school year 2006-07, the school received a passing grade in the satisfaction survey from each of the three groups of teachers, students and parents. This was the only secondary school in the district to achieve this.

Community involvement

The school supports community involvement in the arts. The Roundhouse Theatre Society performs at the Roundhouse Theatre in the school. Since September 2008 the school has held a monthly 'movie night', both to provide the community with family entertainment and to raise funds.
