Although the company, Mamut, was established in 1994, its origins date back to 1986, when the founder Eilert Hanoa, founded his first IT company at the age of 15. The company sold software to individuals as well as small and mid-sized businesses. After analysing the market for financial systems in Norway, Eilert Hanoa decided to end his MBA studies to work full time with the development of financial systems.
