 (QSC) joined its roster of membership with high motivation that their science programs would also be enriched. In the same year, the presidents and representatives of the six member-institutions formally changed the name CLSU-CSU-ISU Science Consortium with acronym LSC.

The Luzon Science Consortium since then has carved a name in the four regions in Luzon

 namely Regions I,II, III and IV as a prestigious organization that promotes science education among students and faculty of state universities and colleges.

Governance

The management of the Luzon Science Consortium is vested in the LSC Council headed by an elected Chair who serves for one calendar year. The Chair is rotated among the presidents of the regular member institutions. On the other hand, the elected Vice-Chair of the council automatically assumes the chair of the Council the succeeding chair.

Mission

With adherence to the LSC Vision, the Luzon Science Consortium shall sustain and maintain quality education in Mathematics
