The school was founded by Mr. C.P. Singh Sir, Mr. S.P. Singh and others, in 1983. It was setup as Lucknow Public Inter College in Anand Nagar, Lucknow

. Since then many schools have gone under the name of Lucknow Public Inter College. The original Lucknow Public School was established by Mr. C.P. Singh in 1988 and is now better known as Lucknow Public School Sector-D. The school was recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad

Admission

Children are admitted at the minimum age of three years. Admissions are made on the basis of interview/test.
