Louis-Joseph de Montmorency-Laval (July 17, 1724 – June 17, 1808) was a French cardinal
of the Catholic Church. He was the bishop of Orléans, left the position after four years, only to become bishop of Condom
for two years, and later bishop of Metz and "grand aumônier" of the French court. He was created cardinal on March 30, 1789 by Pius VI.
