The village was founded in 1996, after 5 years constructing approximately thirty houses. It is the first neighborhood in Pichilemu that was founded in the 1990s

There was some controversy between the neighborhood's authorities and SERVIU, when the latter occupied Los Navegantes' little stadium. It was finally given to the Municipality of Pichilemu on June 8, 2007.
