The film was shot in Padalarang by the Java Film Co., owned by L. Heuveldorp. Heuveldorp also directed the film with the help of G. Krugers on camera. All actors were local, including main actors Martoana and Oemar. From December 21, 1926 to January 6, 1927, the film was shown at three movie theaters: Elita, Orientalbioscoop, and Feestterrein.
