The LLB Group is divided into three business fields:
Domestic Market: This division encompasses the universal banking and asset management business in the two home markets Liechtenstein and Switzerland. The LLB Group wants to strengthen its leading position in private and corporate client business, as well as expand its private financial planning and private banking services.
International Market: This division incorporates the international wealth management business of the LLB Group. Its objective is to intensify its international activities and develop new markets.
Institutional Market: This division contains the institutional asset management and investment fund operations, as well as the financial intermediary
business. The LLB Group intends to consolidate and extend its leading position in Liechtenstein by expanding its product and service offering.
Its first expansion step abroad occurred with the establishment of LLB (Switzerland) Ltd. in 1998. In 2005 and 2008, this company expanded by opening representative offices in the United Arab Emirates.
In December 2006, the LLB made a public purchase offer for Bank Linth AG, which 74.2 percent of the bank's shareholders accepted.
Further expansion steps were taken when the equity stakes in Jura Trust AG and swisspartners Investment Network AG were increased to 100 percent and 61.74 percent respectively.
In addition, the LLB Group has been represented in Vienna
by its own bank since November 2009.

Since its partial privatisation in 1993, the LLB Group has grown steadily. At the beginning of its expansion operations, the focus was on developing new business fields in Liechtenstein.Its first expansion step abroad occurred with the establishment of LLB (Switzerland) Ltd. in 1998.
