Lee Hsien Yang is the second son of Singapore
's first Prime Minister

. He is currently the Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Fraser and Neave

Like his brother Lee Hsien Loong

after finishing his secondary education at Catholic High School
and pre-university education at National Junior College
. He went to study at Cambridge University
, graduated with a first class honours degree of Engineering in 1979, then a Master of Science degree under the Sloan Fellows

. He then returned to Singapore to serve in the armed forces

On 1 July 2009, Lee was appointed as the chairman of the restructured Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore
(CAAS) by the Singapore Transport Minister, Raymond Lim.
