The 2000 sedan

The 2000 sedan kept the central part of the body (roof, doors, interior) and the entire machine (except for some improvements to the engine injection) Flavia II of the series.

The most important changes were made to the front (where they were reinterpreted in the seventies classic Lancia stylistic elements), tail (simple and squared) and interior (richly decorated and equipped). The mechanics remained that note, fine originally but now dated, the Flavia, characterized by front-wheel drive, the boxer engine, independent wheel (behind the bridge was hard), the engine-gearbox-mounted front suspension of a subframe and 4 disc brakes with Brake Assist and split circuit Superduplex.

Because of high production costs, the Fiat was not in favor of the model into production (ready in 1969) and long demurred. The interior did not undergo significant changes, except for a general improvement of the standard equipment of (similar to the sedan) and finishes. Even the engines (as the entire mechanical) were taken from the 2000 sedan and gave birth to 2 versions: the 2000 Coupe, with power carburettor (115 HP) and 2000 s Coupe HF, with fuel injection (126 HP). The HF was recognizable by the side adhesive strip and alloy wheels. All had a 5-speed manual transmission. Were produced and 1399 Lancia 2000 Coupé and 1229 Lancia 2000 i.e. Coupé HF.
